I’m so glad you made it to the about page. My name is Cecilia, founder, and fellow Champagne lover and this is a safe space celebrating your way.

The name C is for Champagne was a light bulb moment I had several years ago. I knew I wanted to start my own business and one of my main loves I had and still have was Champagne.

The actual name and light bulb moment was when I thought to myself “of course C is for Champagne”. Which makes a lot more sense when you read below why its so important that C stands for the word Champagne.

I’m Swedish and grew up in a small town called Lund. When I was a kid around 5-6ish we always played the same games at birthday parties. The game was to mention an item/ thing with the first letter of your name – Cecilia – tricky situation for me as there are only like 4 items/things starting with the letter C in Swedish. And in all honesty you wouldn’t know them around that age. As happy as the occasion was I always left birthday parties feeling left out. Until one random day years and years later; I finally figured it out – OF COURSE – C is for Champagne – this realization could not have been any better or have made me smile more. This at the time and still does to be honest make me weirdly happy.

Lucky for me, now, I live in England where there is an abundance of C words and I do love a good alliteration. I hope you’ll enjoy the products.They have been sourced with a lot of love.

Champagne to me is all about quality and taste. Quality doesn’t equal some pretentious bull shit or some special small group of society that are able to enjoy this drink of life. Champagne is meant to be enjoyed by everyone that is here celebrating their way of life.
